Hello, we are The Casual Travelers©.  We both worked in corporate America, saving our pennies every day for our next trip.  Our trips were often short drives from home and sometimes several hours-long flights.  The world is our bucket list, these pages hold photo collections of our trips. We hope you enjoy the photographs shared on this site as much as we enjoyed taking them.

About

We love to travel, see new places, experience new customs.  Since we both worked in corporate jobs, we had limited time-off, so we really needed to make the most of our time away.  Now that we are fully retired, we will be traveling more often, further from home and stay longer to be fully immersed in the local culture.  Our main goal is to go somewhere new so we can have new experiences, meet new people and most of all enjoy our time together.  We’ve been married for over 30 years, and our children are grown, living their own lives.  So, this is newly found freedom.  We hope this inspires you to plan trips and visit new places.   And when you do travel somewhere new, let us know where you went and even share a few photos.  With your permission, we can share those photos on this blog. We encourage you to have a lifetime of trips, not one trip of a lifetime. Together we can experience all the beautiful places in the world, both near and far.
