Life is meant to be lived! Here are some photos from our Whitewater rafting trip this past weekend. I highly recommend Nick from Whitewater Challengers as your raft guide. He made sure we had a great experience and he was full of Hudson River facts. We used Booking.com to find local accommodations at Gore Mountain Lodge, which were top notch and just up the road from the tour operator. Add to the adventure, an afternoon at a local watering hole.
The Morgan Library Museum is free on Friday nights from 7pm-9pm. The exhibit on the night we went was Frankenstein at 200. We enjoyed both the building and the exhibit. It was full of his personal collection of items. There were hundreds, maybe thousands of books. Many had multiple of copes, with an entire section just Bibles!
Our first empty nest trip was to Napa Valley. We really miss our children being around, but we are thrilled to explore the next phase of our life together.
