2026 Thailand

Our days in Thailand were an incredible blend of cultural discovery, culinary delights, and memorable adventures. Each moment was spent immersing ourselves in the vibrant traditions that make Thailand so unique. From learning about the country’s rich heritage to savoring delicious local dishes, we embraced every opportunity to deepen our understanding and appreciation of Thai culture.

We hope you enjoy this photo album as much as we enjoyed our time in Thailand. Each image captures the essence of our journey and the many wonderful memories we made along the way.

We visited Bangkok, the current capital, Ayutthaya, an ancient capital, floating markets, train street followed by a few days in Phuket for much needed rest and relaxation.

A few photos of our delicious food experiences in Thailand.

Bangkok, our first stop.  You can learn more about this city here.

Our visit to the Grand Palance in Bangkok.  Check out more information on this location here.

In this amazing complex you will find the Emerald Buddha and a very long Reclining Buddha.

Visit to the Flower Market in Bangkok.

A different kind of massage called Tok-Sen where they use a hammer and wooden wedge, learn more  about MakaToksen.

While in Bangkok, we visited the Historic City of Ayutthaya.  This is an ancient capital, just an hours drive from Bangkok.

The notorious floating markets where in years past you could purchase anything, today mostly foods and souvenirs.

Then a quick stop Maeklong Railway which was fun, but  not as scary as Hanoi Train Street.   At this active market you can buy souvenirs, produce, clothes, fresh seafood or any type of housewares.

Our final Thailand stop was in beautiful Phuket, Merlin Beach near the city of Patong.

With a stop at the Elephant Sanctuary where we spent three hours with these lovely creatures.
